The task was to create an extended version of an old fashioned book, to make it more attractive for today‘s readers. We decided to choose Mary Shelley‘s Frankenstein and focused on the theme of mankind creating artificial life and playing God as a brisant topic and an old wish. The old-fashioned way of describing motives and consequences was probably an early warning for todays scientists. Before- &
after-pictures of plastic surgery refer to the scien-ist‘s motivation to create something beautiful.
